On the History of the Lodge
Initiated into Palestine Lodge No. 559 (Now Mosaic Lodge) in 1988, became its W.M. in 2003. District Deputy Grand Master of Toronto Don Valley District in 2008/9. Served on numerous Grand Lodge Committees from 2007 to 2012; appointed Member of the Board of General Purposes from 2012 to 2016. W.M. of Templum Lucis Lodge No. 747 from 2018 to 2021. 32º Scottish Rite Mason – Valley of Barrie.

On McBride’s Speculative Masonry
W. Bro. Hammer has been Grand Historian and the Deputy Grand Lecturer of the Grand Lodge of the District of Columbia. Bro. Hammer is the author of the best-selling Observing the Craft and is working on a book on the McBride Ritual. He is a Fellow of the Philalethes Society and the Masonic Society, and is President of the Masonic Restoration Foundation.
Lodge will be tyled at 7:30 pm.
Regular dress code applies – Tuxedo!
The meeting will commence with gathering in the banquet room at 5:30 p.m., followed by dinner at 6:00 p.m. Lodge will be tyled at 7:30 pm.
The Festive Board is an integral part of the Observant lodge experience and we encourage all brethren to attend this meal if they are able. In order to have the correct number of meals we need to know in advance if you are attending.

Refreshments and dessert table (for all) after lodge. This will also be an opportunity to ask questions to our speakers.
Wine will be on the tables; there is no bar at this facility.
The cost of the sit-down, plated dinner is $65 and seating is limited so please register AND pay by using our new platform before April 13th to reserve your spot. The system may ask you to donate for the platform, but you can skip it – set to zero.
