DESCRIPTION:The next regular meeting of Templum Lucis Lodge No. 747 will be held on the 2nd Thursday of December (14th) at the Arden Park Hotel\, 552 Ontario St\, Stratford. \nThe Twentieth Regular Meeting of Templum Lucis Lodge\, No. 747\nSpeaker (Festive Board)\nW. Bro. Istvan Horvath\nThe dark secrets of the operative masons \nSpeaker (In Lodge)\nW. Bro. John Daniele\nA Peek Behind the Curtain: Kabbalah in Context”\n“While most students of western occultism are familiar with the philosophical framework of the Hermetic Qabalah\, popularized by the Golden Dawn\, this presentation will explore kabbalah through a more Jewish lens and examine it in context with the broader Jewish magical tradition that emerged from antiquity through the Middle Ages.”\n \nLodge will be tyled at 7:30 pm.\nRegular dress code applies – Tuxedo!\nThe meeting will commence with gathering in the banquet room at 5:30 p.m.\, followed by dinner at 6:00 p.m. Lodge will be tyled at 7:30 pm.\nThe Festive Board is an integral part of the Observant lodge experience and we encourage all brethren to attend this meal if they are able. \nMenu\nThe menu that our chef has prepared for the Festive Board reads as follows: \n\nButternut Squash Soup with caramelized apple relish and cardamom foam\nTraditional Roast Turkey with savory dressing\, gravy\, cranberry sauce\, potatoes and veg\nCheesecake with whipped cream and mint and raspberry compote (after lodge)\n\nRefreshments and dessert table (for all) after lodge. This will also be an opportunity to ask questions to our speakers.\nWine will be on the tables but there is also a cash bar in the hotel for other beverages. \nThe cost of the sit-down\, plated dinner is $65 and seating is limited so please register by filling the form before SDecember 7th to reserve your spot.
